"Inspiration of a New Generation" 36"x24" oil on canvas 2020. This is part of the Norman Rockwell in Post Racial America Series where I re-imagine Rockwell images in a contemporary lens with People of Color as the subject. Im happy to include Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez @aoc as the "Inspiration of a New Generation". It took me about 8 years to complete this idea. I took this picture of my daughter Alena holding a magazine when she was only 12 years old. Enjoy.
